Frequently Asked Questions about the Site & the Show

1. Why doesn't Sue answer the emails herself?

Sue used to answer all her own mail, but it simply became too overwhelming for her to keep up. She suggested that we create a web site with answers to common questions that viewers could access whenever they wanted. Initially, the web site did not have a Bulletin Board and, after it was added, it became the Webmaster's function to deal with emails. Sue has no Internet access, and is unfortunately too busy with her lecture tours and television shows to answer individual concerns.

2. Why can't I post my own message like regular message boards?

When the board first started, it was indeed a public access board where people could post their own messages. However, because of the nature of the content, we have had to go to this system. Previously, some posters would give misinformation or use obscenities in their posts. Because this is an educational site, we prefer to use medical terms for anatomy and sexual functions.

3. Why wasn't my email posted or answered?

People often ask the same questions over and over again. If a question that is similar to your's was recently asked, your's may not be. Always scroll down the board a bit and see what response was given at that time. Secondly, the Webmasters are not sexual experts and are not qualified to answer some questions. These will also not be posted. When possible, the Webmaster will direct you to an answer on this site or on others. Finally, we receive an enormous volume of email – about 50 per day – and there just isn't the time or resources to answer them all. This is a non-profit site and we do the best we can with the limited resources available.

4. If I send an email, will you use my email address for other purposes, such as junk emails?

Absolutely not. All emails are deleted as soon as they have been answered. In order to protect viewers' privacy, we do not post email addresses or names on the board.

5. On some episodes of the Sunday Night Sex Show, Sue gives out an address to write to. What is that address?

On early episodes of the SNSS, when Sue was still answering her own mail, she did give out a mailing address. That address is no longer valid.

6. How can I contact Sue directly?

The only way to contact Sue is through the live television broadcast. Because of her schedule, she can no longer accept mail.

7. When do I call to get on the show?

While the show is in season (October until the end of May), we are live every Sunday night at MIDNIGHT EST (or EDT in the summer). We accept calls starting at 11:30 PM EST/EDT. You will have to figure out when to call based on your time zone.
Here's a schedule of when to call:

Eastern: 11:30 PM
Central: 10:30 PM
Mountain: 9:30 PM
Pacific: 8:30 PM
Alaskan: 7:30 PM
Hawaiian: 6:30 PM

Note that the time at which new eipsodes are shown may not be the same as the time at which viewers should call in, due to the fact that Oxygen has both a live feed and a 3-hour tape delay feed. So, you may not "see" your call until later that evening.

The phone number is 1-888-203-8890.
