Hello. I assume this is how we post questions to the bulletin board, if not can you send me the correct link? Anyway, here is my question: Why do I always itch severely after having intercourse alot? I'm married and up until recently he has been my one and only....however, we both have unleashed our kinky side and have been meeting swingers and swapping, I've seen a few men on the side, etc.....but after I've had sex, doeesn't matter with whom, my vagina gets very irritated, a little inflamed, and very itchy. There is no discharge or foul smell but I do feel like i constantly have to pee, and not much comes out usually. Can you give me some advice? Thanks!

Well, first off, visit your doctor just in case it is an infection. My next suspect would be latex condoms. I presume you are using condoms if you are swinging (and you had BETTER be!), and many people are developing allergic reactions to latex. This can be an inflamed, itchy vagina. That also happens to women who use condoms with spermicide on them, so it may not actually be the latex - it could be the lubricant. So, there's a couple of areas for you to investigate. You could switch to unlubricated condoms and add your own lube, or try polyurethane condoms.Randy
