Sex after medicarePosted by C. on April 30, 2008 at 06:43:00:
I will try to be brief. no question, just comments. I was married for 55 years to a wonderful woman (she passed away) My current wife also was married for 55 years to her husband.(He passed) We had known each other in High school so no strangers in the night. We have been married a little over 3 years now, we are both 80 and our sex life is wonderful. She had neither received or gave oral. We both have aches and pains but we can always finfd a position for oral to be confortable. She loves it and i can always make her climax and i do most of the time. Life has been good to us.

Wow. That is such a wonderful little note it gave me goosebumps. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. When we're young, we think that sex has a shelf-life and needs to be 'consumed' as quickly as possible. Your note makes it clear how wrong that assumption is. We are sexual beings our whole lives, as Sue often points out.
