Breasts-Need Info

Hello, My wife (aged 30 yrs) and I are very good sex life. Few months ago, she took birth control pills for a couple of months. Soon after she started taking the birth control pills, she developed a small lump in both her armpits (small size of a cough drop). That scared her and she stopped taking the birth control pills. She consulted the OB-GYN who told her that it was just a little breast tissue growth. She was told that cosmetic surgery could be done but is probably not the best option, as it is a joint with many nerve endings.
Since then, my wife is feeling very self-conscious about it, which has significantly affected her life-style.
Did anyone else have similar experience. I could not find anything on the web regarding this. Appreciate any feedback.
