Painful lube?

My husband and I are attempting anal, but every time we have tried the it hurts me. Not stretching pain but stinging like alcohol in a cut. We have tried KY and Astroglide and one other without a name, but every time it hurts. Is there a reason? Please help!

Hmmm. My guess would be that it is not the lube. You could try a silicone lube as an experiment. It is inert and completely non-reactive with mucus membrane. If it still burns, then lube is not the problem. If he is using a condom, it may be a reaction to latex, and you could try a polyurethane version. However, this may just be a sensitivity you have in your rectum, and anal sex will not work for you. As Sue makes clear, it is not for everybody.Randy
