Randy, I'm sure I've written you once or twice before.

I just read the news and wanted to thank you, Sue, and everyone involved in the show, website, etc. And, best wishes to everyone for the future.

Since 2002, I've felt that The Sunday Night Sex Show / Talk Sex was the most unique show on TV. So much information - so many laughs - so many memories. My whole family would watch. I'll never forget the Hot Stuff Bag or the Pleasure Chest, and I'll always keep my copy of Nocturnal Admissions.

A "Best of" DVD / DVD set would be just awesome. I love the idea! It'd be great if you could include segments from both the SNSS and Talk Sex. Some of my favorite memories are actually from SNSS (the smoldering vibrator and the chin dildo are the two that come to mind first).

It's been fun. Take care,
- R.

Randy:

Print this or not, it doesn't matter to me. But I know you'll at least read
it and possibly pass it on. I was turned on to the Sunday show long before
it was Talk Sex - yes, my Canadian wife (then fiance) turned me onto Sunday
Night Sex and would actual record them every now and again and bring them to
the States when she'd visit.

Then Sue came on air down here. Or maybe it was just that we finally got the
right channel locally? Who knows. But I started watching when I could - but
certain circumstances limited my possibilities. Instead, I'd be here on the
board most every day.

It's funny, because people open up to ME? I try to find answers for them -
or just point them straight here. And yes, you've seen my name come in with
both questions and answers.

But Sue doing her last show.

That's right up there with Cheers or the Cosby's going off the air. Hard to
imagine. Sure, a very different type of show, but I think Sue's "brand" has
made an incredible impact on people (youth and adult, alike) on both sides
of the boarder.

There've been imitators over the years, but none as good as Sue in my book.
Sue is a no-nonsense, 100% non-judgmental source of info. That's what makes
her special. That's what makes this a tragic loss for everyone.

I sincerely wish Sue the best on her lecture tours and hope to see her
through Ohio someday? Does she have a mailing list available with tour
updates and such?

I know you are going to get hundreds of these. I'd like to pass my thoughts along as well.

Sue spoke about how distressing this decision was. I hope she won't feel too distressed. I simply cannot fathom the sheer number of people she has helped through the years. I know I am a better lover because of her advice. No matter what, the legacy of Talk Sex and the Sunday Night Sex Show will live on. It will live on through everyone she has helped. I cannot see a better fitting legacy for Sue's work. It's just simply amazing.

Don't distress about the decision. The universe is replete with turning points and this is just another in a long and distinguished career. Look back fondly and embrace the future!

Best wishes, Sue. YOU are deeply appreciated!

PS - Randy or Patsy, has Sue thought of Webcasting a show? There are logistics to work through but it could be a chat based show where screeners monitor questions in a chat room of some sort and Sue answers them on a video stream to the web. You could Podcast the episode later based on the best questions chosen by the screeners. It isn't quite as interactive as a call-in show but it lets Sue continue at a pace more suited to her needs. That way you can keep a more global interaction level but let Sue choose her pace.

PPS - And thank you Randy and Patsy as well! You guys are just as big a part as Sue is!
- J.

Randy-

I learned on AOL that this Sunday, May 11, is Sue's last show. My husband and I wondered why they moved the show to midnight and now it's taken it's toll. If they put the show on earlier, would Sue stay? I wished my husband and I discovered Sue sooner. She is the only reason we watch the Oxygen channel. We will miss Sue and the show and wish her the best. Perhaps we'll catch her on radio. She is a wonderful and informative person. No one can "Talk Sex" as well as Sue.

Our thanks to everyone for their comments and support. Would Sue have continued if the show was earlier? Perhaps, but that is just my speculation. And we have considered an Internet broadcast instead, but that looks like it is going to be too costly. So, I expect that Sue is going to end up back on radio, which she loves. No makeup, no wardrobe - you just show up and yap!

The web site will continue. Sue and I discussed this yesterday, and she still wants people to have access to the information she has provided. So, as long as it can pay for itself, it can stay here. Since we are a non-profit site, that's why it is important for viewers to use our sponsors. It is our only source of revenue.

And I agree with the guy who said Sue has helped thousands of people over the years, and that's an amazing legacy. Not bad for a dirt-poor girl from Kenora. And she ain't done yet. We will be doing TV specials and she will continue on in radio and in lectures.
