In case you missed the results of previous surveys, here's a digest of what folks had to say.
(Figures rounded off. May not total 100%)

Survey taken Oct. 19 - Oct. 29, 2003
Which of these most closely matches your personal definition of "sex"? Women Men
Petting and kissing 2% 2%
Any amorous activity involving genitals 22% 26%
Oral sex, anal and vaginal intercourse 42% 46%
Anal and vaginal intercourse 14% 13%
Vaginal intercourse only 20% 14%
What constitutes "cheating" in your view?
Petting and kissing 66% 58%
Any amorous activity involving genitals 23% 24%
Oral sex, anal and vaginal intercourse 9% 12%
Anal and vaginal intercourse 1% 2%
Vaginal intercourse only 1% 4%

Both genders view "sex" as oral sex and vaginal or anal intercourse, but the previous generation would have chosen "any activity involving genitals". Of course, the Victorians would have said touching a woman's ankle was "sex". It's interesting to consider how the definition of sex varies throughout history. Oddly, both genders think that petting is cheating, but it is not sex. So, apparently one does not have to have sex in order to cheat. I guess cheating is a state of mind and sex is a state of the union! 5000 people responded to this survey.

The other big winner - or loser - for "least sexy" on both lists was France. So much for "l'amour". I'm just relieved that Canada wasn't at the bottom! There was a huge response to this survey - 6500 people voted.

What's your view on marriage and same-sex couples? Women Men
Gay couples should be allowed to legally marry. 43% 29%
Gay couples should not be allowed to legally marry. 10% 17%
Gay couples should be allowed some sort of legally recognized civil union. 18% 20%
Gay couples should have no legal rights. 5% 11%
Who cares? It's their business, not mine. 25% 24%
Do you consider yourself a bigot?
No 94% 90%
Yes 6% 10%

Generally, women feel more secure about their sexuality and do not feel threatened by a concept such as same-sex marriage. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the majority of our male viewers who voted felt the same way, albeit a smaller percentage. Perhaps people are realizing that the argument about 'preserving the sanctity of marriage' is utterly without merit, since 50% of all marriages end in divorce. If they really wanted to preserve their almighty 'sanctity', they would outlaw divorce. Won't win many votes with that! 7400 respondents.
